POST 4: How Green am I?

In this post I'm going to tell you about how GREEN I am but also I need to say how ECO-GUILT I am, because it's important to reflect on this last point.

Since high school I have learnt about environmentally friendly practices because teachers had a great ecological conscience which they transmitted in each of their classes. Besides, I think if we're friendly with the environment, we will enjoy a better life. 

About my habits I can say recycling is, still, something difficult for me because I don't know how to begin. But I try to reduce this eco-guilt stopping using plastic bags and mainly with the care of the water. I take care of this when I turn on the shower or when I brush my teeth, in fact, usually when my mom washes fruits or vegetables she tends to waste water because ''she lets the water run'' and that's where I scold her! haha.

In my family, we don't have a car but personally I prefer to use the subway for the sake of the environment. I think the problem in this time is the ideas I mentioned before are not shared by many other people, which in part is understandable due to the deficient transportation service that is offered by the government (and expensive, by the way).
 
It's so difficult to talk about this topic considering we are an underdeveloped country with a deficient culture regarding the environment, but I hope in 20 years' time (at least) some of the next things will happen:
  • almost all people will be recycling all trash in the street;
  • the water will be purifed with more frequently;
  • electric cars will be the ''new sensation'' or maybe some people will be driving flying cars, who knows.
In summary, we need to think that all of our actions are for ourselves, no for another person. I'm really afraid of the future increase of temperatures, in view of the solar radiation, will be creating more illnesses and I don't want this for me and for anybody!

POST 3: My Favorite Cartoon Character!

  Hi everyone, In this post I'm going to tell you something about my favorite cartoon character (mainly during my childhood) which is a classic cartoon network series: Courage the Cowardly Dog :-) If you don't know who Courage is, I can tell you that the character is a pink dog that it's in charge of taking care of its owners, Muriel and Justo, when evil stalks them in their home located in the middle of Nowhere. I really like this character because it creates a kind of paradox between its name and its attitude during the plot. But what do I mean with this? VIII. A subject I've enjoyed studying this semester!

Hi everyone, today I'm going to tell you about a subject I've enjoyed studying this semester! That subject is GENERAL CHEMISTRY. I like this subject because, before beginning to study this programme (biochemistry), I really didn't like chemistry but this year, I can say at last, I learned chemistry in the best way. In most of the classes of this semester, we study chemistry from theory, and later, we have a test of that topic. The main contents I have seen are: Atomic Theory, Quantum Models, Chemical Bond, Inorganic Compounds Nomenclature and Stoichiometry.
